- Crystal cole Added 2018-03-03★ ★ ★ ★ ☆Very quiet on the thanksgiving weekend. Make sure you bring anchoring equipment for your tent, as it gets really windy here. Some of the sites are right on the beach. Beautiful views of Lake Superior. Also you can see the sky light up at night. So many stars. Well worth stargazing for shooting stars. Firewood and ice were reasonable rates. $14 for 2 bags of firewood and a bag of ice. Agawa pictographs are a close drive from here. Worth the trip up.
